Note: You are required to purchase a "Permit to Fly' if you wish to fly the defaced club ensign, and must fly this ensign with an LLYC Burgee. Permits available on line in the store. Once purchased, you will be contacted to provide a copy of the vessels Registry certificate, containing the vessels name and SSR.
Note to fly the defaced ensign you need also to buy a "Permit to Fly" available on line in the store.
In order to obtain a permit which is your warrant to fly, the conditions are as follows:
- The vessel must be registered as a British vessel
- Vessel must have a gross tonnage of at least 2GT or a LOA of 7m
- The owner (s) must be a full member of LLYC
- The owner must be a British citizen
- You must fly the ensign alongside the club burgee
- On sale of vessel or Registration lapses, the permit needs to be returned to the LLYC
