Port watch
are back on deck, it's 4.30 am and we are
currently sailing 305o
at 4.2 boat knots from Lands End to Seven
Sisters.
The last 20 hours was a painfully slow sail
from Lizard to Lands End. There
were long periods where the only progress
was made on account of a 2 knot
tide.
Amongst the droll calm, we sighted a passing
dolphin and later a seal was
seen basking in the sun which beat down for
the entire day.
Our lasagne dinner was served and as evening
fell, the windspeed increased
slightly and progress along the course has
been made overnight - lack of
strong wind aside!
So now we're heading for open water and the
fastnet rock!
