  Lutine Lineslip Regatta 2005
   
 

A record turnout of 15 corporate teams took part in the 6th annual Lutine Lineslip regatta.The Event took place in the Solent on the 8 th and 9th June and was the most successful regatta to date. The weather was glorious sunshine with moderate to light winds for the two days.

The races, organised by Britannia Events were a success and the teams were all strongly competitive, providing some very exciting round the cans action. Lloyds Yacht club Commodore, Paul May oversaw the event on board Lutine joined by Richard Bundy of Cowes Yachting magazine.

The atmosphere was a great mix of sportsmanship and good humour, which extended to the evenings events held at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club in Cowes. Paul May Commented that "The sunny setting on the Royal Corinthian terrace was a perfect setting for the Pimms reception and gave friends and crews the opportunity to mingle and swap stories."

SVB Holdings, racing on Tarka took the Division One title and the Lloyds Silver Galleon as the overall regatta champions. FPS Group took the runners up position in Division One on board Beth.
