Lutine Bell Race - Friday 4th - Sunday 6th September

Although September seems to be a long way in the future, it will sure come around pretty quickly, so have you thought about entering this year's Lutine Bell race?

There are still some spaces available on Lutine (click here to book), but if you have your own boat, then why not enter her too?  It's a friendly race but also a rally.  (For your own boat, the Sipper must be an LlYC member)

The aim is to leave on Friday evening - the event starts at  1800 hrs BST at Gleeds Bouy, through the forts then we head directly across to Cherbourg.

There is a drinks party on Lutine on Saturday afternoon and evening then we all head back across the Channel, or return to port on Sunday.

The magestic Lutine Bell trophy is up for grabs at this event:  This is a replica of the Lutine Bell and has been awarded to crews since 1938!  This trophy will also be awarded at the Club's Annual Dinner (13th November at Trinity House), PLUS there is also the opportunity, if you are on Lutine, to be part of the crew to win the fastest time this year!

Come and join us - it's a great event.
