Usually the Easter Cruise is a trip over the Channel to the Channel Islands. With a relatively untested engine this year the cruising ground was restricted. Nevertheless Lutine and a party of people organised by Lynne Atherton had 4 good days sailing to Poole and back, with the odd stop in between. Lutine on her first outing of the year was looking good with new upholstery and rebuilt engine.

A minor mishap took place on Saturday when a chaff bag got caught around the prop. A diver with a snorkel in Poole soon removed the offending article which kept Lutine's speed down to a few knots with a significant tide running against her on the entrance to Poole harbour.
